Deploying Open AD Kit on Neoverse
Overview
This project deploys an Open AD Kit / Autoware simulation in containers on an Arm Neoverse server, integrating SOAFEE, ROS 2, Docker and autonomous-driving application services. The architecture moves planning, visualization and simulation workloads into a reproducible Arm server environment so software integration can start before in-vehicle hardware is ready. Its ecosystem value is a Shift-Left baseline spanning cloud and local Arm infrastructure, supporting consistent deployment and early validation of the automotive software stack.
Scope of verification
- The case shows that the specified Open AD Kit / Autoware services can start and reach simulation-level integration in an Arm Neoverse container environment.
- It does not cover real ECUs, physical sensors, vehicle control, real-time deadlines, road testing or functional-safety certification, so it cannot serve as validation of a production in-vehicle system.
