Neoverse CSS V3 Software Bring-up
Overview
This project builds a pre-silicon bring-up environment for platform firmware and the OS stack on a Neoverse RD-V3 FVP, supporting software builds, full boot-flow observation and cross-component handoff debugging. The method places the SoC reference platform, firmware projects and system software into a reproducible virtual platform so integration and automation can begin before physical silicon is available. Its ecosystem value is a shared Neoverse software-development baseline across firmware, OS, tooling and silicon teams.
Scope of verification
- The case shows the specified firmware/software stack can complete a simulated boot and component handoff on a matching RD-V3 FVP build.
- FVP results do not cover physical-silicon timing, performance, power, I/O, memory training or hardware errata, and do not amount to production-platform qualification.
