Robotics Reinforcement Learning on Arm
Overview
On a DGX Spark, this project natively builds Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab and, using Unitree H1, RSL-RL and PPO, demonstrates a complete Arm workflow from physics simulation to humanoid policy training. The Grace Arm CPU handles software build, environment orchestration and simulation-workflow coordination, while the Blackwell GPU runs parallel physics simulation and reinforcement-learning training. Its ecosystem value is a baseline for running the Isaac robotics stack on the Grace–Blackwell heterogeneous platform, concretely showing the CPU/GPU division of labor in a robotics RL pipeline.
Scope of verification
- The ~65k simulation steps/s figure is observed with 512 parallel environments under the specified setup; actual throughput varies with environment complexity, model, training configuration and software version.
- The workflow focuses on simulation and policy training; results do not constitute sim-to-real transfer, physical Unitree H1 deployment, control-loop timing or robot functional-safety validation.
